Hatice Aksüt was born in 1981 in Nazilli.  She  attended middle school and part of high school education in Izmir as a boarding student.  After graduating from Bilkent University, Department of English Language and Literature, she went to the USA.  She  completed her post degree  in International Trade from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  Drawing has been in her life since childhood.  

While scribbling on notebook corners and diaries, she was eager to learn this craft thoroughly.  Thus, she took drawing classes at UCLA for two consecutive terms.  After that she settled in Barcelona and married Arnau Lesperut. She finished a  two-year illustration program at Escola Joso, Barcelona.Her passion for arttook place  professionally in her life with the drawings she made for her husband’s fantasy fiction novels. After presenting Lili May trilogy to  her readers, Hatice Aksüt continues towrite and draw new fantasy worlds.
